Agility Trial Success Tip #6: Nerves happen when things are out of your control.
Running orders, gate sheets, switches in running order. Being prepared, organized and up to date with all the trial information is important. Take a picture of your entry forms so you will know what you entered when you get to the trial. Once there snap a photo of the gate list to be sure to you’re prepared for the timing of your pre-run routine, warm up and when to queue up for your run.

Today I am grateful for modern mobile devices that allow us to take photos, be organised and keep in touch.

I run 2 dogs in 2 different jump heights. Before the trial, I print off the class running order for each ring for each day. I highlight the classes that I’m entered using a different color for each dog as well as the classes I volunteered to work. I leave it on top of my crate during a trial to keep me prepared and proactively handle ring conflicts.
Thank you for sharing your tips to get organized for the trial!
