Handling360 Video Contest Round One ~ Clarity, Confidence, Connection
At the end of 2018 our Handling360 students shared the amazing stories of their agility year by way of a short video. If you have been visiting my blog for some time you will know that we love dog stories, and we love to honour the progress of all our students by sharing their stories with you. Some will make you laugh out loud, some may move you to tears. They are all from the heart and all celebrate the connection our students have with their dogs in agility and in life.
These stories are representative of every person in our Handling360 community and honour everyone who wants to be at their best for their dog. Members of H360 range from teenagers to grandparents, from the athletically gifted to the physically challenged, and from the never-trained-an-agility-dog-before, to the national champions, to those looking at the world podium. Every level of agility enthusiast yet the same transformational experience and same goal; to bring out the confidence and best connection for their dog and themselves as an agility team.

Did you know that we have a free Facebook group for dog agility enthusiasts the world over to join? Everyone is welcome.
Today I am grateful to everyone looking to have the best connection and relationship with their dogs in agility, and in life.
I’m confused. You list a discount code under FitPaws that has to be used on their website but when you go to Fit Paws it says they are an only wholesale . So how do we get the discount?
Hi Barbara, you should be able to create an account to shop with Fit PAWS. Here is their email address for you to ask any questions you might have [email protected] …. the team at FitPAWS is amazing and super helpful.
Lucy and Peanut are so together. They really deserve this!!!!
I really enjoyed watching all the beautiful dogs connect with their iwners. Dogs are a great source of joy in life & all of them are so very special!
Peanut rocks!
I am enjoying learning the SG way through Recallers. I have a new puppy who is a mini aussie who I am working with on a foundation for Rally and Obedience. The games have helped us have a mini team and he is learning day by day. He is 5 months now. More later.
I had tears in my eyes for Leticia. I felt the frustration of her person. Her person has worked so hard but the connection wasn’t happening until Susan got her on track. I don’t do agility but I understood the lack of connection and where do I go from here.
As for Lucy, I didn’t have agility on my radar either. It’s been in the back of mind because I adopted this very athletic dog. He’s doing Recallers really well with me. However, he’s dog reactive and human reactive (only if people try to touch him). What a great time for Lucy.
Lucy has worked so hard with peanut they really deserve the award
can relate to “cookie hand” – loved the improvement everyone showed.
They are all great stories with wonderful achievements. I think Julia and Melanie’s are my favourite though.
Loved all the videos, the partnerships created through handling 360 is evident. The frustration turns to fun. Awesome 👏
Good morning from the UK, oh dear that was a very hard choice. They are all exceptional – however the two that moved me the most was Lucy and Julia. Apologies I’ve come back twice to vote again as only voted for one the first time. I suppose I voted for the ones I could relate to the most from my own experiences training my rescue Border terrier. That feeling of doubt etc. then finding Susan Garrett’s Free Workshop Page on FB, and then to go on and join Recallers. The inspiration and hope Susan instilled into me was something I could not put into words. It turned our training around significantly. The gift of Dog Agility with Handling360 touched me in the two video’s I voted for. Knowing a Peanut myself, it was hard to ignore this one as a definite. I bellevue this looks to be a cocker spaniel (forgive me if I am wrong) and from knowing the one I know, training this dog is near impossible and no amount of recommending my friends to look at the Workshop page works! I know from my own experience the personality of this breed and what training could have been like. This is a delightful story. Julia’s touched me also. The fact that Julia went back to basics again. Again I could relate to this. To see this in another person with their dog, I saw how much courage and determination that took. Not that I would suggest I had those qualities. Julia being in the UK I felt that mush closer too as well. They were all worthy to have my vote. But those are my reasons. A massive sincere well done to all of you – what incredible turn around stories these are, as a result of joining Handling360. So many of us hold immense respect and thankfulness for Susan Garrett and all those in the SayYes/Recallers gang. You are tops! Ness & Sir Jack Spratticus
Thank you Vanessa 😀 Yes, he is a WCS ! He’s been through Recallers as well – Susan’s methods have worked wonders on us both
I love all these videos. I am trying. Love trying though.
Loved all the videos–so hard to pick just two! All well done and all showed such determination and a love for agility and mostly for building a relationship with their dogs.
I am definitely enjoying this! Thx Susan!
