Congratulations Sally and Patricia, how exciting! Also awesome job Megan and Silvia, it takes a lot of effort and courage to make a video. I wasn’t going to make a video because it was my first h360 year and I didn’t think my video showed enough of a journey but some people encouraged me to and I’m glad I did! It will be great to look back on when I need some motivation 😉 I missed out on the final for this contest but I think I’m a winner anyway because I found h360 😃
Good luck Sally
Good luck Sally! You’re an amazing team!
Megan, you continue to amaze me! Good luck!
All of the stories were inspiring. I chose these two because they reminded me of my own journeys and challenges with my dogs. Best wishes to all of you.
Love seeing such inspiring success stories!
oh my goodness. How to choose!!!!! All are excellent. And I’m always impressed to see how may people can script and produce videos.
Wow! What amazing stories! I’m so thrilled to see so many people working out their problems with Susan’s help!
I train for agility with my dog as well. 😉
Delighted that Finn & I were chosen for this first round. We have had such fun along the way, and amazing encouragement and support from Susan, her team, and other H360 handlers. Here’s to 2018. 🙂
Good Luck Sally
Cheers Mary. 🙂
Northern Irish agility folk are THE BEST.
Not just the northern crowd Sally 😁
Ah flip Aoife you’re absolutely right. But see you compete in Northern Ireland – so you are honorary Northern Irish for the purposes of my comment. xx
Je vote pour la 2 car c’est exactement ma situation, mais la 4 est touchante.
la 5 pas la 4
Good luck Pat. You deserve it.
How they faced their challenges and found joy with their dog reminded me how my dog helped me improve my life after brain injury. He has gone from old age. I have a new puppy now who will help me improve from heart failure while having fun.
All the video contestants had different challenges but Susan Garrett’s method of training addressed all of them. When training is this fun it isn’t work 🙂 Susan’s methodology improves relationships between the dogs and their owners and all the dogs and owners in these videos are obviously happy, filled with joy and having a great deal of fun together! It makes my heart smile.
I am so touched by these stories as it reminds me of my journey that I’m on with Walker. I had a major heart attack that has a 5% survival rate with the additional problem of aspirated pneumonia. The doctors did not think I would survive the first 5 days as I was gasping for each breath with a damaged heart & lungs. When in intensive care, on 100% oxygen, pump in my leg to help me with every third heartbeat I told everyone who would listen that I would start training Walker in agility. He was my inspiration to become a team. He is a flat coated retriever, not fast like a border collie, but faster than any dog could ever be in my heart. He gave me inspiration everyday in cardio rehab knowing we have a journey to complete together. We have been training for 10 months now and are very close to entering trials here in the central coast of California. Thank you so much knowledge you have past on to Walkers 69 year old handler who is loving the journey. Love these stories as it focuses me on the great journey that my best buddy are on. Fantastic bond!
Hey Rich – Great to hear about you and your dog. Good luck with the trials you enter. Finn and I often get eliminated (usually for taking an extra off course obstacle ) and I find a good way of answering when folk ask, is to say we had another “beautiful elimination”. 🙂 Have fun.
Bless you Sally Burch what an inspiration….love that phrase “beautiful elimination” I’m going to be using that one. You all bring tears of joy to my eyes. What a fabulous community of folks.
