Recallers 4.0 Video Contest – Final Videos FACE-OFF!

Posted on 02/18/13 24 Comments

Today is the day!  The Top 6 videos from our Recallers Video Competition will now FACE-OFF to determine who is the official winner of the 3rd Annual Recallers Video Contest!

Let me begin by saying that the makers of these 6 videos should be incredibly proud, as should all of our top 15!  These videos stood out among 260 to not only the staff here at Say Yes, but to your peers!  It is a huge accomplishment to have made it this far!  Your stories have touched many hearts, and it is the JOY in these videos that have made you winners, no matter what the video outcome is!

For those of you just tuning in, we asked our Recallers 3.0 alumni (that’s the past students of The Five Minute Formula to a Brilliant Recall) to submit videos about their Recallers experience.  We had 260 videos from past students pour in, and we narrowed down those videos to the Top 15.  Then, each day for 3 days, we posted 5 videos on the blog (see them here:  Day 1 videos, Day 2 videos, Day 3 videos) and asked our readers to vote for their top TWO videos.

Today, you will vote  for your favourite 3 videos of the top 6 to choose the final 3 winners, who will win an awesome prize pack totalling over $300!  A big thank you to our sponsors, DogWise.com and Agility Q, for their generosity during this competition!  These prizes are awesome!!!

Here’s what to do:

Watch the 6 videos below and vote for your 3 FAVOURITE VIDEOS!  To vote for 3, just select the boxes next to your 3 choices, then click the “Vote” button!  Then, check back tomorrow for the announcement of our 3 winners!  This decision will not be easy…we have some great videos below!  Good luck!

Here are the prizes again:

1.)  Each winner will also receive a prize bundle from Agility Q totaling $100 in value!  Each prize pack will include a harness, all-in-one leash, and rainbow wraps!  Agility Q specializes in custom dog agility collars and leashes that are both soft AND stylish!  And the best part – they are personalized and custom made for your dog!

2.) Each winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to DogWise.com – an online retailer of “All things dog!”  DogWise.com sells everything from books, to dog show supplies, eBooks, DVDs, and so much more!  If you have a minute, check out the website – I know you’ll agree that this gift certificate will be TOO EASY to spend!  🙂

One more way that Recallers is cool – As Sheri and I were chatting through facebook about our excitement in being included in this video contest, we realized she knows Dante’s brother Zest!! Such a small world. Recallers is a great way to make new friends!

They’re all great! Giving hope to the rest of us whose dogs have “issues”. Good luck!

Such inspiring videos! Hard to choose. My first bc, (rescue) what a learning experience he has been! Taken him to dozens of classes but nothing has clicked with us, still distracted. Owner needs training and I am looking forward to recallers!

All the videos were great. So many of them I could relate too. Been there, done or doing that with both the struggles and the successes. It made choosing all the more difficult.

What Susan has given us with Recalers is priceless and it shows in the videos. We and especially our dogs are happily all winners. See you in Recallers 4.0!

Great job to everyone. I had a really hard time only choosing 3. Did anyone make it through watching these videos withOUT crying? That happens to me a lot when I see any videos of struggle, then triumph. Love it!!

Thanks for everyone’s vote…all the videos are awesome…Rocky was “attacked” by a bearded collie and was really afraid of large dogs. So, although he looks like he is a tough cookie, I need to play games with him before we run.. to keep his mind off worries. Recallers has been such a godsend and I am truly having so much fun with my little guy!

Wow, Willy, that is such an awesome thing to say!! I really made it from the heart and every day I think about that journey and get off my butt and train my dog!! I still work hard, but I refuse to let it get in the way of my partnership. I nearly let it go for too long and could have lost the opportunity to share in Dante’s joy.
      Your comments mean a lot!

The video for Dagris Punder is not showing here or on the original page. Is it just me?

Having trained a very timid dog with little or no self-confidence, I know what it took to do this Nathalie! Congrats!

That was hard! All of the videos are super. The the 15 and the final 6. Very difficult to narrow it down. I’m glad we didn’t have to choose just 1.

      Your video inspires me!

I have a Jack Russell, whose agility runs are very much like yours! She even left the ring, when she heard someone open a bag of dog cookies!

      Your dogs transformation is amazing!
