Recallers 4.0 Video Contest Voting – Day 2!

Posted on 02/15/13 29 Comments

Wow!  In our first day of voting yesterday, we had over 1,000 votes (and counting) for our first five videos!  I can tell by your comments that you agree – it was hard to narrow down the great videos to just 15!  Each videos is a creative tribute to how Recallers improved your relationship with your dogs and bettered your lives, and I just love that so much!

Just to summarize, in case you’re just joining us, last week we ran a video contest for alumni of my course, The Five Minute Formula to a Brilliant Recall (or “Recallers” as we’ve come to call it).  The videos poured in, and we got over 260 video submissions!  My team and I watched each and every one of those 260 videos and have narrowed it down to our top 15!  We looked at the message of the video; both the written or spoken message, but we also “read between the lines” and looked for the JOY in your videos.  We looked for the changes in relationship and attitude, the bond that developed, and of course, the improvement in performance.

Now we need your help:

Today is Day 2 of voting and we need your help!  Watch the five videos below and vote for your two favourite videos (Remember:  when voting, check the 2 boxes next to your top choices.  You must select both at the same time before you click the “vote” button, as you can only submit your votes once).  Then, check back tomorrow, as we’ll have 5 more videos for you to vote on!

On the final day of voting, we’ll have the Top 6 videos (the top 2 from each day of voting) face-off!  The Top 3 videos from Day 4 will win some really cool prizes.

And what are those prizes?  So glad you asked!

Susan’s Favourite Things Prize-Pack (the 2013 Edition):

1.)  Each winner will also receive a prize bundle from Agility Q totaling $100 in value!  Each prize pack will include a harness, all-in-one leash, and rainbow wraps!  Agility Q specializes in custom dog agility collars and leashes that are both soft AND stylish!  And the best part – they are personalized and custom made for your dog!  You can find Swagger proudly sporting his custom Agilty Q collar below (and looking quite dapper, if I do say so myself)!  🙂

2.) Each winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to DogWise.com – an online retailer of “All things dog!”  DogWise.com sells everything from books, to dog show supplies, eBooks, DVDs, and so much more!  If you have a minute, check out the website – I know you’ll agree that this gift certificate will be TOO EASY to spend!  🙂

3.)  A $100 gift certificate to one of my online courses or live events at Say Yes!  Say Yes has been busy lately working on course openings for 2013, so I know you’ll have plenty of opportunities to use this credit in the coming months!

So let’s get Day 2 started!  I know you’ll love the top videos as much as we did! Remember to cast your two votes at the bottom of this page, under the videos!  And again, thank you to all of you who took the time to make these beautiful videos for us all to enjoy!

Let the voting begin!

How enchanting and convincing! I think I want my dog to do this! These videos are so hard to choose! I love this thing, really, it’s my new endless hobby. Some of the videos, especially on day one, were strikingly saddening, the others made you want to leap into the clouds! If I could I would give this thing 10 out of 5 stars! I want my dog to do this. It looks so fun and good at the same time! Susan, I’ll see you soon!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Dagris I love your Cocker:) I too had a little Cocker for 16 years and I wish I would have known about Susan then, training her would have been so much easier! I now am working a Aussie and a Black & Tan Coonhound with Susan’s methods and having lots of success!!! I just loved your video!!!

That’s such a kind thing to say! ‘Say Yes’ among many other things have a philosophy that goes a little bit like this….’ anything is doable if you think outside the box’ There are some amazing minds in recallers that is for sure. See you in 4.0! x

The Recallers curriculum is so rich that it bears repeating many times. It is simple enough that a first-time dog owner newbie will feel they are getting back much more than the money and time they invest.

But alumni of R1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 will tell you that simple is not necessarily easy. Those of us about to go through it for the fourth time will feel we are getting many times our money’s and time’s worth, too, as we internalize and expand on what we have learned previously.

And rarely in your life will you have the satisfaction of laughing so hard and having so much fun while accomplishing so much — and you get to do it with your dog and an awesome bunch of people from all across the globe!

I was so pleased to see Shelley’s video. Having a hip replacement it’s very difficult to maneuver for tugging and running. I can’t wait for 4.0. I hope I get in!
