Today I would like to take the time to give a shout of joy from my family to yours on Christmas day. Regardless if you join me in celebrating the birth of Christ today or whatever your custom, today gives us reason to spread the joy of the season to all. I hope your day is filled with great memories of Christmas’s past and of new customs for those you of you looking to create amazing memories for future Christmases.
May you day be a blessed one filled with love, if not surrounded by your human family then by your four footed family. John and I head down to my brothers for their traditional roast beef dinner (music to the Brit’s heart:)) with lots and lots of veggies for the vegan girl:) and lots of love and laughter for all.
I leave you with this Christmas smile as I send out a prayer to “Ethel” and to any of you who are starting a new tradition as you spend your first Christmas after the loss of a loved one in 2011. Peace on earth.
Today I am grateful for the love of family, friends and dogs this Christmas morning.
Susan,
Merry Christmas you inspire me to train every day and joy my dogs everyday. Thanks

Thank you for my Christmas gift. When Hubby asked what I wanted, I told him your webinar on Recallers. So that is what I got! Having the best time with my dogs. I hope your Christmas was as good as mine!

Merry Christmas to you, John and your fur kids. May 2012 be full of Love, Laughter and Learning. Peace and happiness to you all.
Merry Christmas, we all have been enjoying and will continue to enjoy my Christmas present, the trip to Say Yes and what we learned. Our day has been filled with tennis balls, new tugs & toys, along with special treats. The play (training ) is so much fun. Thank you. Happy New Year.
Dear Susan
I want to thank you for sharing all your wonderful dog training knowledge with me, even though i live on the other side of the world (New Zealand). While I only recently discovered Say Yes, already I can see the improvement in my dogs behaviour and the strengthening of our bond, which means a lot to me as I truly love my dogs. Yesterday (Christmas day) my 2 dogs were welcomed to visit 2 homes of family members for Christmas festivities, and everyone commented on how well behaved they were. I have you to thank for teaching me how to shape them to behave in this way, so thank you! Merry Christmas to all the Say Yes family and of course the 4 legged members!

YES, YES, YES!!! To all, human and canine, best wishes for this holiday and a wonderful 2012.
Sometimes the “best” presents at Christmas are the ones that are NOT in a box, all brightly decorated with a bow on top. Thanks to Susan and the Say Yes staff for all of their “best” presents given unselfishly all year round. Merry Christmas!!!

Clare
@Clare LOL thanks for the update!
Merry Christmas to you, John, your Pack and the Say Yes staff. It has been a wonderful year and I hope 2012 holds the same for everyone. Let there be peace on earth and good will towards all.
Merry Christmas! Thank you for the gift of joy…I think of you every time I find joy where it had been “missing” before.
Happy Holidays to all!
Susan, I am simply blown away you would take time to write us. I, too, am so happy and thankful you would make these courses available to us. So many of us are isolated from others of like thinking and to be able to learn, question and share through your courses is a blessing. I know it is an additional revenue source for Say Yes, but it means so much to all of us too. I feel as though I have another extended family. I also love that you are vegan! Says so much!
Vegan too, we will feast on homegrown bounty, including seitan roast and so much more!
And a very merry Christmas to all in your abode…
A very Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful family. In addition to all the joy I have received from you re training dogs (I’m still not very good, but I’m enjoying it) I have received from you inspiration, understanding, patience, and how to be very humble. Your knowledge of the human brain, as well as the canine brain is amazing. Have a blessed Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you and yours! Thank you for being you. Your efforts are life changing for my household. May you be wonderfully blessed in 2012.
Thanks for taking the time to send your wonderful thoughts on this Joyful day. Merry Christmas to you, John, the Pack and your Say Staff.
Looking forward to the New Year and all the joyous times my pack gives me.

Thanks Susan I really needed that this Christmas morning. I had to let my 12 year old heart dog go to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. It’s a sad day for me here in MS. Rose was my MACH and UDX Sheltie along with lots of other titles along the way but most of all she was there for me through some of the roughest times of my life.
Thank you for reading this and I know you guys understand how hard this is.
Merry Christmas and may God Bless
@Rose prayers and positive thoughts for a bright tomorrow are with you. xx
Merry Christmas, Susan! For you, your wonderful pups and loved ones.
Thank you so much for all you do. It is wonderful to have such a clear voice in the dog training world, approaching everything in a very step-wise and joyful manner. Invaluable!!
Merry Christmas to you all …. thanks for the wonderful gift I really needed it … I have had in these days the news that my old dog and I will have little time to spend together because a terminal illness led him to run in meadows of heaven
Wishing everyone a blessed Christmas and a joyful New Year.
The dogs just enjoyed their very special Christmas breakfast (lamb @ $9.99/lb.). I hope they loved it as much as I loved giving it to them 😉
Merry Christmas everyone! Wishing you and your canine buddies much “joy” in the upcoming year!
Merry Christmas, Susan, and the Say Yes staff.
Have a wonderful day with family & friends.
Diana,
Zoey,Onxy & Katy
Merry Christmas to you, Susan, your family (2- and 4-legged) and everybody reading this. May 2012 be filled with new memories made with family; friends, new and old; and special times spent with our dogs, whether taking a nap on the sofa or running a course or learning a new skill. Merry Christmas from North Carolina!
BTW: The 5th Santa was Cameron Grant who was playing the real Santa in that episode.
Merry Christmas, Susan & John! John, may you enjoy that awesome beef roast (my Grandmother came over from England and gave me her love of beef roast and vegetables!) and Susan may you endulge in every good vegetable to your hearts content! Thank you for the wonderful presents you have given us throughout 2011. I’ve enjoyed every one with delight! My parents live in Iowa, USA (so far from Arizona) and I’ve only got to spend 2 Christmas’ with them in the last 40 years…. I sing this song every Christmas Day for them…”I’ll be home for Christmas, if only in my dreams…”
I’m so glad I found you! :o} God Bless & keep you.
Merry Christmas to you and your family and dogs from Norway
Merry Christmas to everyone!
For me the first Christmas with my dogs only in the new country! All other family is now getting ready for their Christmas dinner – I will sure miss the world’s best carrot soup! And all the other fun of course!
Today is my dogs day – play games and have fun!
Evelyn
Merry Christmas Susan and all of the folks at Say Yes who have brightened the past year, not only for myself but my dogs as wel.
Merry Christmas to you & yours, from a blustery Cumbria with a full stomach & a sleeping dog 🙂
Merry Christmas to you and your family. I want to thank you for your skills and sharing them with anyone that’s interested. You are a great instructor with a great depth of knowledge. Keep it up!
Joyeux Noel et Bonne année…..L.
Merry Christmas!!
thanks for all your support.
(who is the 5th Santa?)
Good question Dian!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0609348/
According to IMDB the fifth santa in the I love Lucy Christmas episode was
A. Cameron Grant
I guess they had to have a “real” Santa for the kids.
Mr Grant was born in Montreal Canada. According to IMDB, and he has been in lots of films and TV episodes mostly uncredited.
Merry Christmas Susan and John and to all of your family…
It truly is a wonderful time of year. Let us capitalize upon this time to achieve a lasting peace on earth.
Lili and Steve
Merry Christmas to you and your dogs too from here in the UK.
