Wrapping up some lose ends here. First of all thanks to everyone that contributed to the Shaping Challenge. I hope you all had fun and learned lots. I did promise I would reinforce one of you so the winner is  . . . Chelsea and Zoe.  I choose the winner very scientifically. I counted up the number of people that submitted a reply and asked John to pick a number:). So Chelsea send us your snail mail address and we will send you out a hard cover copy of Shaping Success.  There were some awesome video clips sent in thanks to everyone. Don’t be shy if you have some that you haven’t yet sent. It is fun and educational for all!

Stoni holds the lit cigarette, Shelby in leathers and Twister looking cool in the shades. My early attempts at shaping my first dogs.

For those that sent in videos let me suggest you try and do some shaping without a clicker. A clicker is a great tool, I do use it but I use it strategically. It is very precise and if you are not careful you will create confusion in your dog.

Encore has not limped since we got back home. She has been ripping in the snow with Feature and I have not curbed their activity. No sign of lameness. She had more blood drawn yesterday and we started her on Doxy for Lyme disease yesterday. So everyone keep those positive thoughts coming!

I have had some technical difficulties with my newsletter but I should have another one out to all all of you this week. Lots of new stuff to roll out this week so stay posted!

Today I am grateful for a chance to get things done at home. I have a workshop this weekend here and then come Sunday I am off again until the end of the month!
