Hmmmm. Some thought provoking statements in this article although alot goes against good sound science, I have to admit I do agree with much of what is written.

Susan, I’m confused. Are you saying that Marc Bekoff’s work is not good sound science? Hardly. He has impeccable credentials as a scientist. Science is an area of inquiry that is not static, much like your training. We scientists always continue to seek the best knowledge, the most accurate representation of the universe. Bekoff is a leader in the field of cognitive ethology, a respectable area of science that is making great strides in our understanding of non-human and human cognition.
What Bekoff has to say does not contradict good, sound science. Rather, it IS good sound science. And, I’m glad that you agree with it!
