gratitude.001 The past few months have been an exciting time here at Say Yes. A  brand new blog update website, several new staff members, and many, many people brand new to our Say Yes community. There is so much to celebrate. We are incredibly grateful for our global dog-loving community. It is humbling to have thousands of people reach out to express thanks, support and appreciation for all we do. You inspire us!

“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others.” ― Marcus Tullius Cicero

When I shared a video on this blog recently, about aligning core beliefs with dog training, it was suggested by our community that we have the words available as text, so it could be printed for inspiration. We loved this idea! So, as our way of expressing gratitude to each and every one of you, we have taken the slides from that video, combined them with another popular blog post, and are thrilled to offer you the resulting eBook as a gift.

“Feeling gratitude, and not expressing it, is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” William Arthur Ward

We hope you enjoy the eBook as a thank you for your dedication to the dogs in your life, and in the lives of people you touch, and for inspiring each of us. As people are discovering, reinforcement based training isn’t just something you do with a dog for a few minutes a day, it is a lifestyle, a way of life, it is “behaving gratitudinaeously.”

Looking for the best in our dogs has a way of helping you be that person that looks for the best in the people in their lives as well. It is truly infectious! It is the seed that has sown the amazing group of like-minded dog lovers that has become our Say Yes community. It makes my job so easy as I am constantly being inspired by the people I am hoping to inspire.

“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

~Melody Beattie

Today I am grateful for our Say Yes community. Thank you for being an example of what it means to live a “reinforcement based life.” And thank you also for continuously lighting the flame within each of us here at Say Yes Dog Training!
