Ok, so I’m totally behind the times and haven’t been to the blogs for a few weeks but I just watched Recalls from Slovenia and it made me cry! Bravo.
Wonderfull video of recall, greeting from Belgium
I understand that you want to pick one video, but perhaps you might want to consider finding a way to also provide access to all of these 15 finalist videos, as they all help show something a tiny bit different that shows the value of your 5 minute recall course. This would allow people to really get a better understanding of just what/how your course might be of help/interest to them and their pups! and therefore help more dogs and their human families!!!
After watching the videos I was very impressed and moved by the creativity and effort.
WebManna should hire some of the talented videographers, writers and producers who made these videos.
As a marketer my favorite was Bermuda, but there were plenty that I enjoyed watching several times. I had to be certain the talking Dobie wasn’t really talking…
I don’t mean to be peevish about favorites not making the cut! I think I am just fascinated by trying to work out your criteria 😉 Would you post your five personal favorites for us, Susan?
LOL no pressure for Susan there then!!!
Susan, since Jason thinks U may be obsessive by posting the top 35…could you maybe do the next 10 that were considered? I am in awe of all the ideas these folks put together to make them great.
Thanks
I agree with Floral. Hope you will go by percentage. During the week many people spend more time on the computer than the weekend- unlike me, I guess.
I wish I could submit something… but I have yet to receive my Brilliant package, am alone so it’s impossible to video myself, and being an old fart with tons of things to remember and coping with a heart attack, I don’t remember a lot of the stuff.
Oh well…….
Gale, by “package” do you mean your DVD? You should have received it long before now. Either way please contact info AT clickerdogs DOT com
It certainly must be lost if you haven’t gotten it by now! We will re-send.
Guess what arrived this morning? The Gods of chance gave me the video and took away my snow free and almost depooped half acre back yard. Oh well.
Even though the contest is over, I will try to do a video of my silly red-headed Cavalier; I got her at 4.5 months from England, and she will be 11 months old at the end of the month. I will post the link if and when I get it done.
Thanks for the great video.
Gotta love seeing happy Cavaliers!!!
All the videos are so good. This was such a good idea Susan! I am really excited to do the course again.
Hi Susan
I hope you will be choosing winners based on percentage of the vote for each day, not on pure numbers of votes. Many more people voted on Day 1 than on Days 2 and 3, giving an unfair advantage to those posted on Day 1!
Sure is tough voting, there are many good points in all the videos, I would have loved to send one in but I don’t know the first thing about doing a video, I am very much looking forward to Recallers 2.0, the dogs and me had a blast with the first Recallers course.
really awesome! i love the video and the thoughts! good idea pal…
I love them all! I found I kept forgetting how good the first couple were by the time I’d watched the last ones, so I’d have to go back and watch again. What a great idea, Susan! It also shows how many people are eager to take the course again – if it was so good they’d repeat it, it’s a no brainer for the rest of us to hop on board.
I think that we are all winners. Those that did the course last time have happier dogs and are less stressed people, if we submitted a video we get to do the course again (thank you Susan for your generosity as I would hate to do the math at 200 videos) and Susans page and recallers 2 has nearly gone viral (a few of my friends saw my video and have signed up to Susans newsletter). Thanks again Susan and the Say Yes team. I cant wait for iRecallers 2.0 joR
Like barrie, I was a tad bit disappointed that a couple of my personal favorites didn’t make the cut (and that I didn’t either LOL). But I also think the 15 top videos were all great choices. I truly enjoyed watching/rewatching them, and like many others, found it very difficult to pick just two each day!
Well if it is any consolation to you ladies let me tell you I had picked my top 5 favourites before I posted them — 3 of which will not get it — one of which was voted dead last on one of the days! That just goes to show you how great all of these videos are! I was actually wanting to post a top 35 to my blog here but Jason vetoed it saying that was a bit obsessive!
that’s not obsessive, it’s thorough 🙂
lol Denise!
Again, VERY nice videos….so hard to choose!
Loving the smooth coat BC from Sweet BC Rescue…what a pretty girllie (okay they are all very nice looking dogs, don’t get me wrong!)….and okay seriously, I would love to see that seaside view from my back door!!!
Nice job to all!
Mary
These videos are cool, all the dogs are great to watch, but how much fun does Leia (the black and white collie) look like she is having playing in those beach pools….. but she still comes running when called, love it!
Fabulous footage…how cool is it to see so many people (in so many awesome places) take the time to improve their dog/human relationship. Hard to pick only 2!!
Susan you must be so proud to see how
well everyone is doing with there pups, I
had to bring a box of Kleenex to my desk,
so many tears of joy watching everyone.
They are all so good. I fell for Mara and Leia in Bermuda. If I can only have one vote, thats it.
Loved the recallers course, it came out just as I got a new puppy and has made all the difference in my training! The dog I orginally signed up for the course for, is a 7-year-old collie/shephard mix – a very sensitive dog. He really enjoyed the game format and has even started tugging!! Susan, you changed my behavior, I had internet connectione only at work but got it at home just so I could do the recallers course. I didn’t have a video camera or the savvy to submit a video but enjoyed seeing the top 15 and voting! Will be on the look-out for the next new course!
I just wanted to say that I have loved watching all the videos, and I cannot wait for the next recallers course to begin!
They are all amazing…everyone is a winner, especially the dogs! Mara has done a fantastic job with Leia (Bermuda video). Our biggest challenge with our Cavalier has been the recall, so now I’m inspired to “work” at it again.
Oh, today was very hard! I absolutely loved all of these videos. The one from Slovenia brought tears to my eyes, the one from France made me laugh out loud, and the one from Bermuda made me dream of taking a trip to that beautiful place! Can’t we vote for 3 today, pretty please??
Terri
My favorite video, which was not my own BTW. didn’t make the cut?!? The awesome RZ vid with the BC that was on FB? At one point the handler is taking teeny steps to the side to bring the dog into RZ? All the videos have been fabulous and have gotten me very excited about retaking the course since they really highlighted things for me to concentrate on this time around. Of course this time around my crazy ACD is undergoing the Ruff Love treatment so…Anyway, congrats to everyone!
Hard to choose and great work on everyone’s part. Now I see what the brilliant results were! Good for you Susan to have such a great program and follow up for all to see.
Love the Bermuda one, amazing how she comes back after just one call of her name.
wow this is a hard vote today!
You are right, hard to decide today. I agree with Lynda; the dogs show nothing but having fun while they are learning. I’m having a ball just watching and learning myself!
It is working now. What a great set of videos!
They were all very special – made it hard to choose. Now I know why Susan felt such pressure. My favorite is the one from Bermuda. What a beautiful place for Leia to live and learn!
All amazing videos! So enjoyed watching them all. Very difficult to choice they are all great!
The two things that stand out for me on ALL the video’s here and on Facebook – seeing all the dogs with their tails up, ears up and bright eyes and then the joy in the human’s voices when they talk about their training adventure.
Cheers to all of you who took on the project with such ENTHUSIASM!
Lynda
Susan,I loved this whole idea.Dai our Border collie will certainly be doing your next recall
We thought the bermuda one the most arresting. It made us see clearly what your programme will do for us
This is going to be hard today, I’ve only watched the first video and I’m in tears already! Just beautiful
All of the videos were hard to choose from, they are all wonderful and inspiring. I found myself in tears watching some of them. Congratulations Susan and Say Yes for bringing people and dogs on a happy, fun filled journey.
These are great!!! For some reason the burmuda clip won’t play for me. The rest will… I will have to hold off on my vote until I can watch it.
Thankyou Susan for such a wonderful competition. I enjoyed a trip around the world, learnt lots and made some friends along the way. Now where to have my next holiday, Bermuda or France? joR
Bring on the sequel, my puppy cant wait.
first to vote, how cool! very sincere videos that show a lot of recorded footage, great to see.
