Hey everyone guess what I found out. This blog has power. Since there is power in numbers it appears that people would like me to write about their products on my blog and in my newsletters. You see, since we have such a big following here in cyberland that makes us a magnet to advertisers. Seriously, I get requests pretty much daily from companies for some products I haven’t ever even see before, let alone tried any of them. I recognize, this power could be used for good or for evil . . . cue the sinister music and Vincent Price’s voice from when the Brady Bunch went to Hawaii . . .  neehaaah ahh ahhh ahhh ahhhhh.

By now, I hope you all trust that my goals for this blog are the same today as when I started. I would like to contribute to a world where dog training is facilitated with mutual respect and the trainer acts as a motivating, benevolent “team-leader” rather than intimidating-alpha-rolling “pack leader.”

Sure I have occasionally mentioned some trinkets that I have a personal bias towards h-e-l-l-o-o-o Slap Chop baby! So what if only the seller of these items profits. When I get excited about something, I like to share it and I bet your kitchen has never been happier since you started slapping.

My intention here is really to contribute, rather than to hock products. That is why I have yet to sell advertising space on the blog and if I did, you know it would only be for products that I have used and am crazy about (like if the Cellerciser people wanted to sponsor us here for example:)).

However, when a opportunity comes across my computer like this one did yesterday, I can not let it pass by. This is a chance for me to share with all of you, a discount on products that I train with regularly. These are pricey products so any discount is awesome but we are talking about $45 savings in your pocket. These discounts make it possible for you to purchase these items at a price lower than anywhere else in the world— all because you read this blog (or my newsletter). How cool is that? To me, that is worth flaunting and I sincerely thank the manufacturers for hooking us up like this.

So check it out, here are the three products and yes I personally use each one on them, two of them on a very regular basis. The manufacturers, are a group of people I affectionately refer to as the “It People”, you know, because of their products such as their “Tug-It,” the “Move-It”, the “Hit It” or the “Touch It”. Personally I am still eagerly waiting for them to venture into home renovation tools. I’d like to see their ad campaign if they were to launch the carpenter’s friend the “Screw it”, or your plumbing partner the “Damn it!” followed by the landscaper’s dream the “Sod it”.

Okay, I digress. Seriously, use these coupon codes sooner rather than later as they expire by the end of this month. Did you get that, cut and paste these codes and go to the It People’s website to place your order today ’cause they are taking away the big discounts soon.

The “Touch It” is used by many of my students as they perfect their nose touches for contact training. I regularly recommend the use of the the “Touch It” to help clean up a sloppy or weak nose touch. Using the Touch It sort of levels the playing field for those trainers that don’t have brilliant mechanics yet as it can help you to recognize what you are rewarding. Don’t just let the beeping target do all the work, watch and decide if you would have clicked or marked each nose touch. Compare your thoughts against the beeps you hear, that will improve your training mechanics. Build a stronger touch by waiting for a longer beep. Go to www.nosetouch.com and at check out enter discount code: SYTI10 to receive a $10 off the purchase price of each “Touch It” you purchase.

Encore learning her Nose Target before the Touch It was invented.

The “Hit It” is a personal favourite of mine. I use it both when training my running contacts and in training my up contacts. Even if you have no need to train either, I think everyone needs a Hit It board. It is a great project to train your dog to do something completely different. Target one or more paws at speed or at a stand still on the ground, on a slant board or on a wall. Love the Hit it Board.  Go to www.hititboard.com and at check out enter discount code: SYHIB10 to receive a $10 off your purchase price of your “Hit It” board.

Lastly, me and my on-again-off-again-bad-back would not survive course setting without my “Move It.” It makes it easy for just about anyone to haul around their A Frame, regardless of size or strength. Go to www.hititboard.com and at check out enter discount code: SYMI25 to receive a whopping $25 off the price of your “Move It”

And in case you forgot, the “It People” have an on going coupon for all of you blog readers for their “Tug It” toy. Our discount code: TUGSY is always active. Thanks to Mary Lou and Jim for generously making all of these discounts available to all of us. Now go all that is left for you do is “buy it” then “use it” . . . okay a bit lame I guess:).

Today I am grateful that all of you readers are visiting in numbers that can create purchasing power for everyone. When time permits, I will hit up some of my other favorite dog suppliers to see if they would be willing to offer up some discounts for all of us on some of my other favorite toys!
