Another great trial put on by the Dog-On-It club in Orlando. I am not quite sure how many years John and I have been coming to this trial, but I think it is it is twelve years. It always has been, and still is, one of my favorites. Not only because the venue is beautiful, not only because this club seems to always bring in great judges, but I am sure a big reason is because the people in the Dog Gone It organization are really nice people.

The weekend started well with both girls winning the Grand Prix; Feature in 26″ and Encore in 22″.  That was a relief since the week before we didn’t have many spectacular runs. Both girls had other very pretty runs including Encore in a nail biter coming 2nd in the Steeplechase finals (Feature had a bar in the finals). It was fun trialing with so many Say Yes students that make the trip south for camp.

Just had to share these pictures. I am suppose to have a picture for our IFCS world team website of my dogs (both girls are on the team, Feature is an alternate). I tried to get one at the trail this weekend. This first one the camera moved a bit so it turned out a tad out of focus. The next one I lost Feature to the ring behind me and the last one my two well trained dogs showed me they would much prefer watching their friends run agility then take part in my photo shoot!

I think I am going to have to try again later in the week, possibly when there isn’t as much excitement going on!

I somehow don't think this picture will do for our World Team photo.

Masters camp starts this week, lots of awesome dog and handlers coming into play including several former national champions, it will be a great mix of dog and handlers.

Today I am grateful for all the help my friends and students gave me with my dogs over the past two weekends of trialing. It is tough running both dogs in a smallish 26″ class. A special shout out must go to John Hill (Lynda Orton-Hill’s husband) who videoed my runs for me over the past two weeks. Thanks John, you rock!
