Okay, so I screwed up and the post I wanted you all to read today (Monday) got posted yesterday (Sunday). SOoo what
that means is that everyone has had a head start in finding challenges. If you haven’t read yesterday’s post yet, please do, we already have a few great resources posted there.
My plan is to give you guys this week to find and post challenges. By next week, those that are willing to part take in the $5 Challenge of Certainty, will have all the material they need to give it a try. That will lead us up to the following week where I hope there will be some brave souls that will report back with your findings. I don’t want you to tell me what you THINK your dog will do, but actually take me up on this challenge and see how you react when someone is watching (and potentially taking money from you) and see how your dog does as well.
Bring on the challenges!
Today I am grateful for our indoor RV garage as John and I pack the motor home to head south to Florida (and it is -8 C outside).
WOW! Totally awesome, I love it!
For hind end awareness (and just to be silly!) I taught my cattle dog to weave 6 poles backwards! Check it out:

Ok the hardest one we have ever done is dog starts at one end of 24 poles ( you need lots of poles for this one ), you at the other end, release dog to weave towards you and run PAST him to the end he started at and he needs to weave PAST you to the end you started at. No lures at the other end to keep the dog going! Most dogs turn and start to weave the direction you are running…..
